My homeschool background
As a previous homeschooling parent I woud like to share some tips and provide resources to assist current homeschool families. I homeschooled our son from mid-way through Grade 6 through high school.
Welcome
Welcome to my homeschool page, as a previous homeschooling parent I thought some of you may like to read some of the tips I have based on my experience homeschooling our son. I have also designed a number of resources that can be purchased from my online store.
Many homeschooling parents find the high school stage of homeschooling quite daunting; however, I provide a number of resources, an online membership site, and links to other resources which you may find useful.
My YouTube channel provides videos to help you study effectively. I’m adding a new series of videos, and if you subscribe to my channel you will be notified whenever a new video is posted.

Workshops
I hold workshops in various locations in Australia for parents and high school students. The following list provides a brief overview of some of the workshops I hold. If there is specific content you are interested in please feel welcome to contact me.
During this half-day workshop I share my experience with homeschooling for a high school age child. I share tips and strategies, as well as a number of resources I found to be very useful. I also show pathways to university and apprenticeships. Please contact me via the link below to be kept up to date with the latest workshop dates near you.
Students who wish to continue their education or seek employment need to have the ability to effectively use their computers. I hold workshops for PC or Apple users and teach students how to use ‘Word’, ‘Pages’, PowerPoint’, or ‘Keynote’. During the workshops students produce professional looking documents and electronic presentations. I also offer a similar workshop for parents who wish to teach their children the same skills.
This workshop is designed for students to learn how to source information, and present the information with in-text citations and a correctly formatted list of references. This is ideal for students in the equivalent of Years 9, 10, 11 and 12.
It is so important to learn effective time management skills. During the workshop, I present ways to use electronic and paper diaries. I also provide strategies to study smarter not harder.
To keep up to date with the available workshops, resources, tips and hints to help you and your high school or primary school homeschooler please subscribe to my newsletter. Please note, I do not share your details with other organisations.
