Unwritten Rules of PhD Research

“The Unwritten Rules of PhD Research” by Marian Petre and Gordon Rugg is a very straightforward book. I purchased this book prior to commencing my PhD. It’s worth reading, even before commencing the PhD program. It is written in an easy to read style, and it does provide some good tips on the following:
✔︎ Keeping an annotated bibliography
✔︎ Interviewing
✔︎ Epistemology and rigour
✔︎ Writing structure and style
✔︎ Presentations

I have the paperback version; there is also a Kindle version available.
